More about Tiaan

I grew up and was schooled in Randburg in the eighties and nineties. I learnt sales in the UK working door-to-door and face-to-face in the early to mid naughties. I worked in financial services in Johannesburg for many years until trading the city life for the Western Cape in 2013. I did my property internship doing rentals that year but relocated and switched to the food and beverage industry where I worked in markets and fairs and in expo's in and around Cape Town where I also operated a retail outlet at the Market on the Wharf. When I returned to Mossel Bay in 2015 I managed a prominent restaurant for 5 years, allowing me to become ingrained into the local Mossel Bay culture and customs before starting in property sales in 2020. I have since obtained my full status as professional practitioner and I specialize in the central, Linkside and Santos suburbs of Mossel Bay. I believe in delivering a transparent and efficient service to satisfy the needs of both buyers and sellers; becoming the household name in town for property needs and building lifelong relationships.

Selling an Overpriced Property: How to Bounce Back and Attract Buyers
18 Aug 2025
When it comes to selling a home, every property owner dreams of securing the best possible price. Unfortunately, one of the most common mistakes sellers make is setting the price too high. While it might seem like a good idea to “test the market,” overpricing can backfire, leaving a home stuck on the market for months, attracting little interest, and eventually forcing the seller to accept less than fair value.
