More about Kate

With a foundation rooted in a local farm upbringing and schooling in Port Alfred, I bring an intimate understanding of Port Alfred and its surrounding areas. In the early '90s, my husband and I assumed the reins of Feathers Farm, spearheading the production, packaging, marketing, and distribution of eggs across the greater Eastern Cape. Embracing the principle of 'support local and local will support you,' our family business thrived for nearly three decades until its successful sale in 2023.

Now embarking on a new and exciting career in estate agency, my extensive experience at the helm of Feathers Farm has bestowed upon me a wealth of business knowledge. From production intricacies to effective marketing strategies, I am well-equipped to navigate the diverse facets of real estate.

Teaming up with the dynamic Harcourts Port Alfred team and under the mentorship of Helen Purdon, I eagerly anticipate delivering a professional and dedicated service to my valued clients. My profound understanding of the local landscape, coupled with years of business acumen, positions me to guide clients seamlessly through their real estate endeavours.
