Gavin Zeelie

Harcourts Blue / Non-Principal Property Practitioner
More about Gavin

I’m Gavin Zeelie, a real estate professional with Harcourts Blue, proudly serving the Germiston property market. Having lived in Germiston for more than 20 years, I bring deep local knowledge, long-standing relationships and a genuine commitment to the community into every client interaction. Being a property practitioner of choice in this area comes with responsibility, accountability and an understanding that trust is built over time—not transactions. My work is rooted in integrity, service and an unwavering dedication to doing things better every day.

At the core of my role is assisting clients with property value assessments, as well as the buying and selling of residential property, while increasingly expanding into commercial and industrial property opportunities. I help clients understand realistic market value, pricing strategy and the most appropriate path forward based on their goals. Whether supporting homeowners, buyers, investors or business owners, I focus on listening carefully, absorbing information fully and negotiating outcomes that truly serve my clients’ best interests. He is known for clear communication, realistic pricing guidance and creating a structured, stress-free process that helps buyers and sellers move forward with confidence.

My professional journey has shown me that real estate is as much about people as it is about property. After more than five decades of working with people in various roles, nothing has been as rewarding as being a property practitioner. Every transaction teaches you to listen more carefully, communicate more clearly and build networks that benefit both clients and communities. I hold myself to one guiding question: How can I do this better? That standard shapes the way I serve every client.

Community involvement is central to who I am. I am a proud and active member of the Germiston Rotary Club, where I currently serve as secretary, and I am involved in the Lambdel Residents Association as secretary elect. I am also a member of Lions International and actively support youth development through the Scouts. These roles give me an even deeper understanding of the people, families and neighborhoods that make Germiston what it is. This connection allows me to guide clients not only on property decisions, but on lifestyle, community fit and long-term value.

In recent months, I have focused on upskilling myself in commercial and industrial estate development, expanding my expertise so that I can better serve clients across both residential and commercial property sectors. The property market is constantly evolving, and I believe in continuous learning, professional growth and staying ahead of market trends. This future-focused mindset allows me to remain relevant, adaptable and increasingly valuable to the clients who trust me with their property decisions.

Being part of Harcourts Blue gives my clients the support of a trusted real estate brand with strong systems, professional marketing tools and a collaborative team environment. This backing allows me to combine local insight with national and global expertise, ensuring that every client benefits from both personal attention and professional infrastructure.

I take pride in building long-term relationships and being a consistent, reliable guide for people navigating important property decisions. Whether assisting with residential sales, exploring commercial opportunities or simply offering informed advice, I approach every interaction with care, professionalism and a genuine desire to add value.

Whether you are looking for a property value assessment, planning to buy or sell a home, or exploring commercial or industrial property opportunities in Germiston, I am here to guide you with integrity, experience and commitment—backed by the trusted support of Harcourts Blue.

Your journey matters, and I’m with you every step of the way.
