More about Dianne

Dianne Fisher Smith has resided in the Amanzimtoti area for the past 25 years. She is married to Ian and has three children - James, Jade and Amber who have made her exceptionally proud.

Having been in the hair-dressing industry for many years led to Dianne opening her own salon in 2006, which she found challenging but hugely rewarding. “The hairdressing trade has opened so many doors for me and I have met some incredible people in Amanzimtoti” said Dianne.

“I am a hard worker and push myself to over-come whatever life throws my way. My all-time favorite quote is from the movie Forrest Gump. “Life is like a box of chocolates - you just never know what you going to get!” I have had my share of curve balls, but I believe it’s how you cope with the curve balls of life that determines your real character. “

Dianne’s father owned three real estate agencies whilst Dianne was growing up, so real estate is in her blood.

Dianne recalls her father’s words: “If you want something, go out there and make it happen! “
