Inside the Devonshire enclosure, behind the neighbours facing the street is this roomy home. There are eight(?) parking areas by the front door, half of which are covered, but no garage.
From the front door to the right is a dining room. On the left is a big kitchen with a gas cooker, scullery and laundry. Ahead is an informal lounge and adjoining that, a more formal lounge with dining table. These rooms lead onto an enclosed patio, which is a lovely place to braai.
To the right there is a seemingly endless array (seven) bedrooms, all except two have their own bathrooms. They open to the garden. The reason for all the rooms is that it was a guest house when the current owners bought it. At the end of the passage is another full kitchen with a separate entrance, and a storage room.
At the back there is a granny cottage with bathroom and living area. There is also a double room for staff. The place runs mostly off solar, including the geysers. The garden is very pretty, especially around the back.
With neighbours all around, the walls are high. If you really make an effort, someone may see you.
