It was built by the artist himself with wood and iron to withstand the very cold Berg winters and with the wood burning stove has a truly cosy, cottage feel.
Cell phone connectivity on the property is good and there is also a 3 phase Eskom line on it which services both dwellings. Water is pumped via a 3 phase motor from the River to two 5000L tanks. These tanks then feed the two dwellings for normal use whilst drinking water is harvested from rain water. Both dwellings have a separate water supply, septic tank and Eskom line.
The southern boundary is 300m of the Little Mooi River which offers lovely natural features such as an island in the river as well as a large natural cave. There is a servitude road for access that needs a bit of work and 2.2 hectares of Pinus Patula greet you as you drive in.
