On entering St Helena Bay (our fishermen's village), when you take the curve along the coastal road you are presented with the images of our town and understand where the name of the development "St Helena Views come from, where snoek, mussels and crayfish are a way of life. Saint Helena Bay is also the only area along the South African West Coast where the sun rises across the bay. The reason for this is its unique location, the town itself faces north east and almost north. It’s situated 150km North of Cape Town and our picturesque village with it’s unspoiled beaches make this a playground for surfers, canoeists, and yachtsmen, as well as a paradise for bird watchers. With the bays calm waters, Dolphins and Southern Right Whales are often spotted off the coastline. Here you will find a variety of restaurants, from cosy to beach front.
