Purpose-Built Warehousing to Let | Westown, Shongweni
Plan your next move into industrial premises designed around your business, with bespoke rental opportunities at Farrier Business Park in Westown, Shongweni.
The developer offers purpose-built rental premises from 250 m2 to 20,000 m2, subject to the agreed design and availability. This is an opportunity to discuss the warehouse space, office component and operational layout your business needs before the final development specification is agreed.
Farrier Business Park forms part of Westown in Shongweni, with access from Farrier Drive via Kassier Road. The developer’s fact sheet places the park approximately 1.5 km from the N3 via the Shongweni Interchange and 30 km from the Port of Durban.
The planned 80,000 m2 warehousing and logistics development has a dedicated secure entrance and connects to Westown Boulevard. Precinct management covers security, landscaping, cleaning, signage, public spaces and infrastructure.
Westown lies on the N3 between Durban and Pietermaritzburg. Its wider mixed-use setting brings together business, residential and lifestyle development. Westown Square, which opened in March 2025, offers established shopping and dining amenities within the precinct.
The developer’s programme targets the first completed buildings for occupation in early 2028. An occupation date for your premises must be confirmed as part of the development and lease agreement.
Monthly rental and VAT treatment are to be confirmed once the premises size and specification are agreed. Rates recoveries, operating costs, precinct levies, utilities, parking charges and any other recoveries must be confirmed in a full rental quotation. Lease term, deposit and escalation are also to be agreed.
Power capacity, backup power, water provision, clear height, roller shutter doors, loading facilities, yard space and vehicle access will depend on the final design. Confirm suitability for your intended use and truck requirements before committing.
Farrier building images are artist’s impressions, and the wider Westown masterplan is an illustrative precinct view. The Westown Square photograph shows a surrounding retail amenity, not the premises offered. These images do not confirm the specifications of a particular site or unit. Final plans, specifications, availability and delivery dates are subject to confirmation.
