Vacant stand, serviced with water and electricity, right on the dam. It is situated in Summer Place Country Estate where you are spoiled with 24-hour security with access control, launching, fishing and picnic facilities. There is no time limit to build.
Bronkhorstspruit Dam, a haven for all types of water activities, was established in 1950 and holds 58,5 million cubic meters of water. Bronkhorstspruit Nature Reserve is situated on the southern edge of the dam with more than 200 bird species to spot. The reserve is situated on the southern edge of the dam.
Sunsets in the reserve are a wonderful spectacle. There are a couple of resorts on and around the dam that provides those disinterested in fishing with swimming pools, restaurants, and a place to camp, and the Transvaal Catamaran Club is a popular haunt for the few windsurfers.
If you are looking for more of a wilderness feeling, then head off for the Skosana Nature Reserve, a small but slightly out of the ordinary nature reserve just north of Bronkhorstspruit. Here unusual outcrops of granitic rock dominate the landscape whilst large antelope and a variety of bushveld birds can be seen.
