The mixed-use Sibaya Precinct has five development nodes across 750 ha, and the objective is to create a place where people can enjoy unparalleled natural beauty combined with the convenience of urban living, according to OceanDune developer, Charles Thompson.

Located on the KZN North Coast between uMdloti and uMhlanga, residents of OceanDune will also have easy access to King Shaka International Airport and Durban on the N2 or M4. From Sibaya it is an easy three-hour drive to some of the country’s top Big 5 game reserves and six top golf courses are within 20 minutes of the precinct.
OceanDune’s deluxe apartments will have access to the unspoiled beaches below, connected by discreet, boardwalks winding through the pristine coastal forest.
Outdoor, community activities are supported by a range of facilities including jogging trails throughout the precinct, lap pools, a kiddies play park, a beach clubhouse and a prayer room. Residents will also enjoy access to a range of retail facilities including a gym, a foodmarket, a cocktail bar and a restaurant within OceanDune estate.
Investors will have the option of one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments and penthouses, with prices starting from R995 000. The tiered apartment block is on the most naturally protected site in the precinct. The site is surrounded by the indigenous Hawaan Forest to the south and east with unobstructed sea views for most of the apartments.
According to Thompson the apartments will be designed to maximise the sea views and natural light, minimising the need for artificial temperature controls.
Tongaat Hulett executive, Sithembiso Mthembu, says the style and feel of the development complements the vision for Sibaya Precinct.
