Two Cape Town Properties Featured in HGTV’s Ultimate House Hunt 2020

Three South African properties feature in this year’s HGTV Ultimate House Hunt 2020, in the ‘Global Homes’ category, with two of the properties being located in the Western Cape and marketed by Jawitz Properties. The two homes, one located in Noordhoek and one in Constantia in the Southern Suburbs, were selected by HGTV to feature as part of a small selection of the most desired homes across the world.

“Now in its 9th consecutive year, all of HGTV’s nominees are represented by members of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World and Luxury Portfolio International and garnered more than 1 million votes from US consumers last year. Jawitz Properties is very proud to have two of its most stunning homes qualify. They are both exceptional properties that would meet the requirements of the most discerning buyers,” says Kerrigan Damons, Marketing Manager at Jawitz Properties.

The Noordhoek property that is listed by agents, Mary-Anne Coates and Marissa Massari for R14,650m, is described as “exquisitely crafted and designed to create luxurious family living in a relaxed rural setting with garaging for 10 cars”. Located at the end of a cul-de-sac in popular Noordhoek, it features four bedrooms en-suite, a deep wraparound veranda that opens off the living areas onto a swimming pool, landscaped gardens and a small dam.

The other ‘Global Homes’ nominee property is located in Upper Constantia and the listing agent, Charné  Shipper, describes it as a “renovated historical Cape Dutch masterpiece complete with custom-designed bespoke finishes and an outdoor spa-like entertainment area”. Listed at R12,9m, this 6-bedroom property imbues French charm and style with its rich wood-panelled interiors, large living areas, high ceilings and fireplaces. The Italian-style kitchen, smokers lounge and charcoal pool round off this classic beauty.

The HGTV Ultimate House Hunt runs from 30 June to 4 August on Properties can be viewed online and US consumers can vote for their favourite properties. The properties that receive the most votes will be selected as winners in the various categories.
