The Premier Tower was recently approved by the city’s planning commission - but that is not what brought this building to the world’s attention, it is the inspiration behind the this curvy building that grabbed everyone’s attention.
The architects, Elenberg Fraser says, that the building will be a mixed-use development with a "complex form" that more effectively redistributes the building's mass. It will house apartments as well as a hotel and retail space. "For those more on the art than science side, we will reveal that the form does pay homage to something more aesthetic," the company's site reveals. "We’re going to trust you’ve seen the music video for Beyoncé’s Ghost."
