Phase one of Asrin's Gemstone development 70% sold

Asrin Property Developers have announced that 70% of units have already been sold in the first phase of its Gemstone Estate development within Cravenby Estate. With construction just months away from completion, interest in phase one, The Topaz, remains high.

Rehana Moosa, marketing executive at Asrin says: “Uptake has been exceptional from the start.  Ever since our civil works team first moved on site and the sales cabin was erected, our sales executives have noticed a huge interest in the development, particularly from residents of the area who are keen to buy their own homes.”

To meet the consistently high demand, Asrin has released phase two, Sapphire Mews, which offers two bedroom apartments priced from R699 900 to R785 700; and three bedroom apartments priced from R869 900 to R899 900. Meanwhile, The Topaz will comprise 42 units in three-storey walk-up blocks with prices ranging from R689 000 to R779 000.

“We’re on schedule to complete phase 1 of the Gemstone Estate by June this year,” says Shiraz Onia, Asrin’s Construction Director. “On Block A of The Topaz, we are on the second level preparing for roof construction. We have cast the ground floor slab on The Topaz’s second block and the brickwork is well under way.”

Once complete, The Topaz and Sapphire Mews will both feature superior finishes including engineered stone countertops; ceramic tiles and laminated flooring; ovens, hobs and extractor hoods; and anodised aluminium windows and door frames. All units will have Wi-Fi and DStv connections.

In addition, the design incorporates a number of green features, such as solar panel geysers, which are designed to reduce utility bills by lowering water and electricity consumption while minimising the estate’s overall environmental footprint. Each phase in Gemstone Estate will have its own access-controlled entrance with a guardhouse.

Gemstone Estate is conveniently located just off the N2 directly opposite Avonwood Square shopping centre and in close proximity to Sanlam Centre, N1 City, Cape Town International Airport, UWC, Tygerberg Hospital and public transport connections.
