Durban's objections to valuations have been assessed

All motivated objections against eThekwini’s (Durban) municipality’s new valuation roll have been assessed and investigated in the field where necessary, according to Real Estate Unit Head Keith Matthias.

The results, according to an article in the eZasegagasini Metro, the official municipality publication, are being reviewed by a panel of valuers.

As each objection is decided, objectors will be told the outcome by letters and text messages, if they have supplied cellphone numbers.

A call centre (0861 113 254) is available for objection queries and advice on the appeals process on weekdays, during office hours. See www.durban.gov.za.
