Chas Everitt operators have got Paarl covered

The Chas Everitt International property group now has a strong presence in the Paarl / Winelands area of the Western Cape, where four people to date
have taken up the opportunity to become Notebook licensees of the group.

All four are top-performing and award-winning agents with many years of real estate experience, and between them they aim to cover the whole local market
while giving property buyers and sellers access to the comprehensive national and international marketing service offered by the Chas Everitt
group.

"Although the Notebook concept is essentially for agents who want to work on their own," says new Paarl licensee Suna Dorfling, "the four of us in this
area have agreed to work co-operatively for the benefit of our clients.

Dorfling, who will be covering the town of Paarl itself, is a Chas Everitt stalwart, having been with the group since 2006, and says the recently introduced Notebook licensing model was an obvious choice for her because it is more affordable than a full franchise, "but still enables me to offer my clients full access to the group's outstanding marketing
infrastructure".

The other Notebook licensees in the area include Reon van der Merwe, a 25-year veteran of the real estate industry who with his son Johan specializes in sales on the Boschenmeer golf estate, and Henriette Basson, who has also been associated with Chas Everitt for a long time and has now decided to focus on sales in the Pearl Valley and Val de Vie estates.

The fourth member of the local Notebook "team" is Elfrieda Retief, until recently a top-perfoming agent with another real estate group. She decided
on the Notebook license "because it is perfect for agents like me who want to be in business for themselves but also want the benefits of belonging to a franchise group with a very strong brand".

Barry Davies, the Chas Everitt director of franchising, says the Notebook concept has caught on "exceptionally well" among the principals of independent estate agencies looking to broaden their marketing capability, and among top agents who would like to work for themselves but realise the value of the brand recognition and support that comes with being part of a strong national group.

"The Notebook licence grants an operator the right to use the Chas Everitt International brand, its systems, websites, marketing material and training within a defined area at an affordable entry and operational cost," he explains, "and there are also significant benefits for clients in this model.

"It means that they can do business with agents who are well-known and proven performers in their local markets and at the same time gain access to Chas Everitt's awesome marketing infrastructure and after-sales service."
