BETTERBOND LAUNCHES DEBIT CARD

“In yet another leap forward, Betterbond has just released their Visa Electron debit card,” says Deon Lessing, marketing director of Betterbond.

The debit card will be distributed next week and can be used at all merchants in South Africa displaying the VISA sign. The card is currently being rolled out to Betterbond affiliated estate agents nationwide.

Agents, who are registered with Betterbond’s incentive programme, Blue Door and have accumulated earnings, will receive their payouts into this debit card. The benefit of having their currency paid into the card is that agents will be able to spend as they please, wherever VISA is accepted. This affords the estate agents the advantage of choice and serves to make their spending safer, more convenient and hassle-free.

Betterbond’s Blue Door Challenge incentive scheme for property professionals has, in a short space of time, gained an enormous number of participants. “Not only has the challenge hailed success in terms of participation, but many property professionals who registered have already succeeded in unlocking their benefits,” says Lessing.

There are other fabulous grand prizes that are up for grabs at the end of the challenge which is on 31 October 2008. A grand prize of R100 000 will be awarded to the estate agent with the highest rand value of bonds granted.

The agency principals stand to win an overseas trip to the value of R50 000.

“There are also various mystery prizes which are being issued throughout the duration of the Blue Door Challenge,” Lessing concludes.
