Aida puts Boksburg on show

Aida Boksburg office will ratchet up its marketing efforts with a major expo at the East Rand Mall in June.

"We will, in effect, move offices from 6 to 12 June and set up shop in the Clicks Court at the centre," says principal Denver Ramnath. "All 15 of our agents will be in attendance and we will go all out to meet as many prospective homebuyers as possible."

But it will be more than a marketing exercise for Boksburg property. Ramnath says creating an increased brand awareness is a major consideration. "To this effect, we have invited coastal Aida branches to also present properties at the expo and we will hopefully do brisk trade in referrals to those offices.

"Boksburg, with its easy access to all major routes and the International Airport, has become the fastest growing node on the East Rand and is attracting many new investors as well as residents, especially from areas such as Bedfordview and Sandton. Local property prices are about 25 percent cheaper than equivalent properties in those areas and Boksburg's many amenities mean you never have to leave the city."

He says the Ekurhuleni Metro's recent top credit rating by risk analysis experts and its go-ahead marketing efforts such as the Red Hot campaign for which it won a national public relations award, are expected to stimulate further investment.

"These factors contribute to improving our buyer profile and many clients are in the market for a second property - hence our co-operation with coastal offices."

Ramnath expects good returns from the expo. "The East Rand Mall is the biggest shopping venue in the east with millions of shoppers passing through each week. We expect the venture will maximise our exposure, build the Aida brand and give clients the opportunity to meet all our agents in person."

Things you should consider before upgrading to a new home

Sometimes it’s because our circumstances have changed, and we’re taking care of elderly parents or relatives. Sometimes, it’s just because we want a property that reflects the financial status our hard work has won.
