Vladimir Neiman

I have just joined KW and I am writing to introduce myself.  My name is Vladimir Neiman. I was born and educated in Russia, I worked there in the fields of industrial and... technological research, computerized non-destructive testing, automated testing equipment and acousto-electronics. I earned a PHD degree from Moscow University After a 3-month research sabbatical that I spent in Johannesburg at the invitation of Wits University in 1991,  I decided to emigrate to South Africa, and in 1992 I arrived here with my family, together with my beautiful wife and 2 little kids, and became a South Africam citizen. I have since worked for a number of companies in the IT industry in South Africa. The kids have grown, they are both in mid-thirties now,  and both moved on to live in Sweden. My wife and I are happily married, we live in Fourways; still no grandchildren for us though. In 1999-2004 I worked for South African regional office of Atos, a large international IT company, then known as Sema Group, where I managed messaging operations, and was in charge of SMS messaging platforms at Vodacom and Cell C. I also managed messaging operations in some other countries in Africa, and also went on a project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. From 2005 to April 2020  I worked as a project manager in the banking IT (Nedbank, Standard Bank and a short stint of Absa), right until my forced retirement at the beginning of the Covid crisis. I am not entirely new to real estate. Starting from 2003 my wife and I created our own small property investment portfolio, buying/selling/renting investment properties in Joburg and in KZN. I am excited about my new career as a real estate professional, for me it is another career change, following 2 previous careers in research and in corporate IT, and I am determined to make it a success! I am honoured to join Keller Williams,  this wonderful team of high achievers. In my previous careers, I learnt a lot about teamwork, about agility, about the can-do attitude, all the things that I know are highly valued at KW. I am looking forward to working together, to learning from this team, and to helping each other achieve our goals!
