Since relocating from the UK to Cape Town in 2015, my journey in South African real estate has been defined by a constant drive for progression. Having moved from agent to Team Leader and now to Operating Partner here at Spectrum Realty, I have a deep, ground-level understanding of what it takes to succeed in this industry.
My "Big Why"
I am a firm believer in the adage: "Give a man a fish and he eats for a day; teach him to fish and he eats for a lifetime."My true passion lies in helping others succeed—especially those who may not have traditionally had the opportunity to build their own business.
In a challenging environment like real estate, my mission is to provide my team with the tools, the tech, and the grit they need to thrive. If I can change even one person’s life by adding value to their career or teaching them a new skill, I consider my mission achieved.
A Corporate Foundation
My approach is backed by a high-intensity corporate background in the UK, where I worked for prestigious organisations such as the Financial Times and Longman Publishing. This experience gave me a sharp, competitive edge and a love for the "sales chase" that I still carry today. Whether I was streamlining processes for UK independents or working within local government, my focus has always been the same: hitting targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
Leading the Team
As Operating Partner, I oversee the daily operations of our residential sales team. My role is to recruit the sharpest talent, present high-impact training, and work alongside my leadership team to help our agents scale their businesses. I ensure that we leverage the best modern technology while never losing sight of the fundamental sales processes that get results.
