Honesty and integrity is of the most importance because if your client cannot trust you they will not do business with you. It is also very important to keep informed about the changes in the market and what is expected of the seller as well as the buyer. Also keep your clients informed, for instance if they have a bond on their property and they don’t know they have to give the bank 3 months’ notice that they intend selling they could stand to lose 3 months interest which will be added to their settlement figure.
