Twenty years’ experience in the property market with MPRE / NQF5 Qualifications. In the late1999 started working for a real estate company in Springs, Gauteng as a candidate... estate agent. The next year, wrote the examination at the Estate Agencies Affairs Board for real estate agents and principals. This qualification made it possible for him to open up his own business due to the principal status. During 2000 up to 2001 he linked up with Realty Elk in Boksburg to get more exposure on all aspects or real estate and how a multi listing system like RNS and MLS works to the benefit of the sellers and buyers. This system was uncommon in Springs where he planned to open up his business. In 2001 he opened his own real estate company in Springs with an average of 10 agents. With the knowledge gained in Boksburg he founded and designed a multi listing system for the market and agencies in Springs. Eight out of twelve companies operating in the area joined this system and collectively had more than 40 agents working together servicing the market is Springs. The system was called SPLS. Chaired, trained agents and drove this system for over 5 years till he left Springs in the late 2006 and moved to Boksburg. At the same time he was selected to be a director for MLS in Benoni driving the multi listing system in that area. RNS also had many discussions with him to amalgamate SPLS with RNS. The merge were done but due to work pressure he did not sit on the board of RNS for Springs. He focused mainly on the marketing of new development projects around South Africa like golf estates, holiday and game resorts around Cape Town, Knysna, Ballito, Margate, Hoedspruit and Nelspruit. In 2007 he also moved into the middle income developments because of the huge need that there were for this kind of housing. He linked up with developers that were focusing on this market and sold many developments in Tshwane, East and West of Gauteng as well as in the Midrand area and even in the Vaal Triangle. Built long business relationship with developing companies and still up to today he is working on some of their projects. While working with the developers he saw a need in the market in administration and client management for developers. With his organization / work-study experience as well as his Quality Management (ISO 9000) qualifications he started marketing this service to developers and many started utilizing his services on and off doing project management for the developers from sales, all administration with municipalities and architects, site inspections, liaisons with contractors up to final inspections and key handovers to the buyers. He also has built a network of over 45 real estate agencies in all the different areas of the developments who help with the marketing of the developer’s products. Around 110 agents worked with him on the developments that were brought to the group. Helped the agents (if need be) with training on the products, assisting them with information to their clients and helping closing deals and doing all the administration of the deals leaving the agents open to focus on just selling. During 2011 - 2019 he did the National Certificate in Real Estate, NQF5 as requested by SAQA and all the ongoing CPD training as prescribed by the EAAB board. Joined the KW South Africa group in 2019 due to their training, systems and infrastructure they have in place to help agents building their own businesses under the umbrella of a larger company. This helps smaller companies and individual agents growing from strength to strength.
