In 2014, with over 26 years of professional experience, including 18 years in sales within the motor industry, I embarked on a new journey to explore the realm of Media Consulting. While this venture offered unique experiences and challenges, I swiftly realized that my true passion lay in the personal interactions I cherished with my customers in the automotive sector. Driven by a genuine care for people, I made the decision to transition into the real estate industry, seeking to facilitate one of life’s most significant milestones—helping individuals and families find a place to call home. After approximately two years in real estate, fate introduced me to James Conyers of NRG - National Realtors Group - and his family. Our immediate rapport confirmed my desire to join his company. James’ unwavering values and innovative approach to real estate, specifically tailored to the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro market, resonated deeply with me. Together with James and our entire team, we later transitioned to eXp Realty South Africa—a company leading the future of real estate through innovation, collaboration and, above all, integrity. Integrity has always been the cornerstone of my life and career. At eXp Realty, these are not simply words; they are values we live by every day. I am deeply honoured to be part of a team that shares my commitment to putting people first. One of the defining moments of my life came in 2017 when I was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident. I spent six weeks fighting for my life in the Intensive Care Unit, followed by two and a half months in a rehabilitation hospital, where I had to relearn many of the most basic skills—including how to walk again. That experience fundamentally changed my perspective on life. It taught me that determination, resilience and perseverance can overcome even the greatest obstacles. Those lessons have become invaluable in my career as a Property Practitioner. Real estate transactions are not always straightforward. Many involve complex negotiations, unexpected challenges and moments when it seems a successful outcome is no longer possible. My refusal to give up, coupled with a solutions-driven mindset, has helped guide numerous transactions to successful conclusions that may otherwise have fallen apart. I firmly believe that every challenge has a solution when approached with patience, creativity and unwavering commitment. For me, real estate has always been a people business. Every property represents a family, a dream, a new beginning or the closing of an important chapter. It is a privilege to walk alongside my clients during these life-changing moments and to ensure they feel supported every step of the way. My personal journey has been equally rewarding. I was a single mother to my two wonderful sons, Jardin (38) and Cameron (36), for 17 years before meeting the extraordinary man I now proudly call my husband. Mornè and I have been married for 15 wonderful years and are incredibly blessed to be parents to our cherished son, Theo, who joined our family at just 20 months old in October 2013. My commitment to people extends well beyond my profession. I previously served on the fundraising committee for Ithemba Lam Baby Haven, supporting abandoned and abused infants and toddlers. Although the haven has since closed, I continue to dedicate my time and resources to various charitable initiatives in my private capacity because I believe we all have a responsibility to make a positive difference in the lives of others. My philosophy is simple: people will always come before property. While my goal is to achieve the best possible price for your home in the shortest possible time, my greatest priority is ensuring that you feel heard, respected and cared for throughout the process.
