Apart from the 8,341 residential units, 731 cluster homes, 818 detached homes and 120 retirement units that is planned for the estate, residents will be glad to know that no less than 14 car lanes are planned at the gates of the estate.

Seven incoming lanes and seven outgoing lanes will ensure that residents do not experience traffic jams at this exclusive development according to Giuseppe Plumari, CEO of Steyn City Properties. It is estimated that when the development is launched in early 2015, spending on infrastructure will amount to about R6 billion.

Furthermore a total of 90,000 m² office space and a core with restaurants, boutiques and other retail outlets are also planned.

As for safety, the systems in place at Steyn City are of the best while still remaining unobtrusive.

The developers have already spent a staggering R35 million on upgrading the roads and a new reservoir.

Once the development is launched there will be 93 units, 19 cluster homes and 13 detached houses acting as show houses.
