Engel & Völkers Hartbeespoort under new management

Engel & Völkers Hartbeespoort Dam is being taken under the wing of the Engel & Völkers Southern Africa head office.

The management change of the Engel & Völkers franchise in Hartbeespoort Dam is implemented with immediate effect. A very comforting prospect for the experienced sales team currently deployed at this office, and it is with great excitement and anticipation that they will forge ahead with new ideas and new enthusiasm under new management.

Antoinette Swanepoel

Engel & Völkers SA is already in discussions with potential licence partners who are interested in taking over the franchise, but in the interim the shop will be managed by the new team of Antoinette Swanepoel and Cherry Grobler. Antoinette has been a highly successful resident agent in Hartbeespoort since January 2005. She is very well known in her community and has always had a sincere passion for the brand and her area. Cherry Grobler who has been a Principal of her own real estate company in the area for about 20 years, always had a close working relationship with Antoinette.  They will prove to be a strong team with sound management skills and enviable knowledge of the local real estate industry.

Riaan van Deventer, Head of Real Estate Operations, Engel & Völkers SA will be in close liaison with the new management team.

Swanepoel remains positive that the area will continue to grow as Hartbeespoort Dam and surrounds is in great demand by those seeking to change their lifestyle but still be within an hour's drive of the northern suburbs of Johannesburg. With its top-class schools, a variety of residential estates, shopping and commercial nodes and natural surroundings, those who have the opportunity of moving to the area never look back.

Three distinct areas around the dam cater to the requirements of almost every buyer. On the eastern side are the mainly residential suburbs of Schoemansville, Ifafi, Birdwood, Xanadu, Melodie and Meerhof. The waterside suburbs on the north western side of the dam wall include Kosmos, K'shane, Caribbean Beach Club, Kosmos Ridge, Magalies Golf Estate and Leloko. The southern shores are homes to estates like The Coves, Westlake, Pecanwood and Lakeland.

The wide variety of properties and price ranges available means that there is something for everyone, from smaller and more economical townhouse units to executive homes in higher price ranges.

“We have opened an on-site office at the Kosmos area and this office gives our property sales advisors the opportunity to offer home-owners fantastic exposure for the properties and also a one stop shop for potential investors in the area”, says Antoinette.

Hartbeespoort Dam and surrounds is truly a unique environment. The Engel & Völkers team there look forward to hearing from you to discuss your properties needs and to view their wide portfolio of properties situated all around the Dam.

Having it withheld or even having large amounts deducted can lead to a lot of distress,” explains Bruce Swain, CEO of Leapfrog Property Group.
