Paradise development for Mossel Bay

A new lifestyle development near Mossel Bay on the Garden Route offers discerning homebuyers a “slice of paradise” at market-related prices.

The emphasis of the Paradise Coast Beach and Eco Estate, set on 300ha of pristine fynbos on the coast about 7km to the west of Mossel Bay, is firmly on a leisurely way of life in safe and spectacular surroundings, says Japie van Zyl of the local RealNet franchise, which has been awarded a shared mandate to market the estate.

The latest development in the estate is Phase 1 of Project 6, which offers 39 plot-and-plan packages and a frail care centre that is being developed at the same time. Buyers can choose from several building packages at prices ranging from R632 200 to R2,416m. Free-standing homes with one, two or three bedrooms as well as studio or one-bedroom life-right units are available.

"Frail care and health care facilities, panic buttons in all life-right as well as free-standing units, excellent yet unobtrusive security and daily meals will make Paradise Coast a winner for buyers older than 55 and retirees, although the estate is open to buyers of all ages who appreciate a secure lifestyle in unique surroundings," says Van Zyl. The estate offers views of the beach, the Indian ocean, unspoilt natural countryside, and the craggy cliffs of the Outeniqua mountains. Residents will have access to the secluded beach, and will be able to explore a nearby cave or take untrammelled walks through the large stretches of pristine natural vegetation that features rare fynbos.

Later phases of the development will include shopping facilities close to Phase 1, more residential units, as well as a hotel and holiday cabanas.

The estate is just a few minutes away from Pinnacle Point golf resort and the Garden Route Casino, and 45 minutes’ drive from the George airport.

Construction of the first units as well as the frail care centre has started and the developer expects that the care centre will be ready by the middle of next year when the first new owners will take occupation of their homes.
