RE/MAX pays tribute to Mandela

Many words can be used to describe the iconic figure that was Nelson Mandela – anti-apartheid revolutionary, politician, former South African President, Noble Peace Prize recipient, father, grandfather and man.

“A word that comes to mind is ‘chivalry’,” says Adrian Goslett, CEO of RE/MAX of Southern Africa, “In my understanding the word describes the man perfectly, defined as an honourable person that shows strength of mind, body and soul, who is courageous and disciplined, using their power to protect the weak and defenseless. This word truly defines who Nelson Mandela was.”

Peter Gilmour, Chairman of RE/MAX of Southern Africa, says: “Nelson Mandela was a great man, who achieved remarkable things for our country. He guided a post-apartheid South Africa into a peaceful and positive future, where diversity is celebrated and accepted. Few men have had such an incredible impact on our country and he will continue to be an inspiration to generations to come.”

RE/MAX of Southern Africa would like to pay our respects to Madiba, the father of the rainbow nation, whose tireless efforts for unity brought a nation together. Although your long walk to freedom has come to an end, your legacy will journey in our hearts forever.
