New Draw-a-search feature launched by MyProperty

We are proud to announce another innovative new way to find property on MyProperty South Africa, Draw-a-search.

This industry first feature for South Africa, allows you to draw a shape on a map, and locate properties within that shape. A price heatmap is also included that colours property markers based on price range. This provides a great and quick visual overview of property prices in the area you've drawn. You can further narrow down your search criteria by price, property type, beds, baths etc.

Properties are mapped by estate agents advertising on MyProperty. Not all properties are currently mapped but we hope that with time, and map search features like these, agents will see the value it provides for consumers and map all their listings.

Below is a quick video, or click here to start drawing your property search!.

The New MyProperty website was launched 6 weeks ago with unique new features including the ability to search for property in any suburb, road or place in South Africa. This was followed up by live traffic integration and now the new Draw-a-Search feature.  MyProperty was the first South African property portal to launch on the cloud (using the Amazon AWS platform) in 2011 and is South Africa's largest (and almost only) independent property portal.
