‘JOY OF GIVING WARMTH THIS WINTER’

This winter the Pam Golding Property (PGP) group presented Nazareth House in Vredehoek, Cape Town with winter pyjamas for the 50 orphans cared for by the organisation. This forms part of the PGP group’s community initiative, ‘Joy of Giving Warmth this Winter’.

An ongoing national project, Pam Golding Properties’ Joy of Giving campaign has already benefited a wide variety of charitable organisations in communities countrywide. The initiative aims to encourage PGP offices around the country to assist the local communities in which they operate by undertaking collection drives for those in need - for items including blankets, clothing, scarves and beanies, to sponsor such items, host soup kitchens or in some way make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Nazareth House takes care of disadvantaged, vulnerable people who have no close family or anyone else able to provide the care they require. These include the frail aged, terminally ill adults and babies and children who have been abandoned, orphaned or abused. Nazareth House also functions as an emergency after-hours place of safety for children or babies, and includes a community cottage for healthier HIV Positive boys and girls who live as a family unit under the care of a housemother and an assistant.
