GRASSY PARK HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARY TO BE REFURBISHED ON MANDELA DAY

The library at Grassy Park High School in Grassy Park on the Cape Flats is to be refurbished on Mandela Day (Wednesday 18 July) - courtesy of The Property Foundation and Pam Golding Properties staff.

On this day, approximately 50 agents and employees from Pam Golding Properties (PGP) offices in the Western Cape will descend on the school, and with materials such as paint, brushes etc provided by The Property Foundation, they will spend 67 minutes on refurbishing the school’s library facility, and stocking it with appropriate donated books collected by PGP.

Additional books catering for all age groups and collected by PGP will also be donated to a library in the Afrika Tikkun Zolile Malindi Centre in the Mfuleni community, just outside Cape Town. Catering for the local community the centre includes an early childhood development centre, multi-purpose hall, library and sporting facilities.

Anyone wishing to donate books suitable for high school readers or for other age groups is requested to please drop these off at any Pam Golding Properties office in the Cape Town area. For further information contact your local PGP office or contact the head office on 021 7101700 or email vivienne.pretorius@pamgolding.co.za.
