Top award for generous Midrand agents

The RealNet property group has named top Midrand agents Ananda du Plessis and Lynette Gregorowski as the winners of its national 2010 Sharing Abundance award.
Presenting the award, group chairman Tjaart van der Walt said that Du Plessis and Gregorowski, who are co-owners of the RealNet Midrand Estates franchise, were not only excellent agents, but also exceptionally generous people who obviously believed in the RealNet value of sharing abundance.
He said they had undertaken several projects to benefit their community in the past year, including regular rubbish clean ups around the Midrand Estates area and the distribution of gifts, toys and sweets to people in homes and hospitals.
“But the story that really touched our hearts was the way Ananda and Lynette provided money this year for physiotherapy and transport so that a little girl’s leg could be saved after she was knocked down by a taxi. The girl’s mother says the leg would have been amputated if it were not for their help, but that she is now able to look forward to her baby walking normally.
“That is a true example of the values that we espouse as a group, and we are very proud to name them as the winners of our 2010 Sharing Abundance award.”
