New Iconic City Landmark Radisson Blu Hotel Port Elizabeth celebrates Grand Opening

PORT ELIZABETH, November 1, 2009 – The Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the fastest growing hotel groups in the world, today announced the grand opening of the Radisson Blu Port Elizabeth – the friendly city’s first international luxury branded five star hotel.
The 173 room property, valued at ZAR330 million and situated at Summerstrand’s beachfront, captures magnificent panoramic views of Algoa Bay and is within walking distance of blue flag beaches, the Boardwalk Casino and Entertainment Complex, Oceanarium and several museums and is 5 minutes from the city’s airport.
