Honours for Chas Everitt in Boksburg

The Chas Everitt International franchise has been named by East Rand mortgage originator RNS as its top Boksburg achiever of 2008.

The award, presented at a recent black-tie event, is based on the agency having generated the highest value of new bond business in Boksburg over the past 12 months, and the win has made it one of the 10 best-performing RNS members on the East Rand as a whole.

The achievement, says principal Leslie de Wet, is indicative of the agency’s wholehearted commitment to the local market – “where conditions are currently challenging but targets are achievable when a company applies itself”.

He says Boksburg’s chief appeal lies in its central location. “Many residents are choosing to live here and commute to Johannesburg or Pretoria because Boksburg properties also offer great value for money. The area is also well serviced and offers a variety of quality schools and shopping venues.”

Most buying activity is currently occurring in the middle-income bracket with R1m freehold properties with three bedrooms and two bathrooms being the best performers. Sectional title properties priced between R600 000 and R1m are also selling steadily.
