President Donald Trump lists Caribbean mansion

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has listed his beachfront mansion in the exclusive Plum Bay, Saint Martin.

According to the listing agents Sotheby’s International Realty the price is available upon request, however another agency, 7th Heaven Properties has put a $37.5 million price tag on the so-called Le Chateau des Palmiers.

The mansion features every luxury you could possibly imagine, from 11 bedrooms, a heated swimming pool, an indoor gym (and an open-air version), a tennis court, to a outdoor bar and alfresco dining area to just name a few.

Security is top priority as the home is a gated compound within a gated enclave with 2.4 meter-high walls.

Did we mention that it also sits right on the beach?

The property boasts with an oceanside villa, a garden villa and a manager’s house. And Sotheby’s says the oceanside villa features five king-size bedrooms with full private bathrooms, including a two-storey master suite with a Jacuzzi tub and two private balconies facing the pool and the ocean.

There is also a fully equipped kitchen, a formal living room, a formal dining room seating 10, and a casual outside dining area and a media room.

The four bedroom garden side villa features the “Jungle Room” with king size-bed and small living room, the “Palm Room” with king-size mahogany bed, and a two-bedroom suite with queen-size beds, a shared living room and cosy dining room.

For those special parties there is also a huge commercial catering kitchen to ensure the food is prepared to perfection.

It is believed that Trump has used the tropical refuge mostly as a rental asset since he acquired it in 2013.

Sotheby’s St Martin office says rental packages start at $6,000 per night in the low season for the smaller of two villas.

But you can expect to pay $28,000 per night in winter when everyone wants to escape the cold.
