New apartment scheme appeases rental demand in Sunninghill

Manhattan, Renprop’s latest apartment development in Sunninghill, is nearing completion with occupation due in October 2016. As a pure rental scheme, the 180 units in this apartment block will cater to the strong demand for sectional title rental units in the area.


 
Chris Renecle, MD of Renprop, says that the four-storey Manhattan, which is Sunninghill’s first high rise apartment block, is focused on providing executive rental accommodation to appease demand in the area. “Renprop has developed Manhattan as a pure rental scheme in response to the strong demand from those looking to rent sectional title property close to the business districts of Sandton, Waterfall, Midrand, Rivonia, Fourways and Sunninghill,” he says.
 
Renecle points out that the demand for this type of accommodation in the Sunninghill area has been building up for some time due to its ideal location that allows for easy access to the Sandton/Rivonia, Midrand and Fourways nodes. Added to this he says that factors such as the upgrade of Witkoppen Road and the development of the Mall of Africa and Steyn City have further contributed to the appeal of the area, thereby strengthening the demand for rental accommodation.
 
Manhattan is the an ideal option for corporates in the Sunninghill area and surrounds that are looking for medium and long term rental options for visiting executives as the well located apartments offer contemporary, high-end living.


 
Adding to its appeal for corporates is the fact that Manhattan is ideally situated close to all major transport routes, most notably the onramp to the N1, Witkoppen Road and Rivonia Road. The apartments are also surrounded by amenities, most of which are within walking distance. These include schools, shops, medical facilities, gyms and more.
 
Manhattan offers a selection of one-bedroom one-bathroom, two-bedroom one bathroom and two-bedroom two-bathroom configurations. Residents will enjoy with lift access to the apartments, which boast neutral colouring and earthy tones with an open-plan design.

“The apartments at Manhattan have been designed with clean, modern lines and contemporary open-plan spaces, to cater to executives who want to live close to the heart of Sunninghill’s business district and the Sandton CBD,” says Renecle.
