Celebrity Real Estate - Inside Gwyneth Paltrow’s apartment

The actress and lifestyle entrepreneur, Gwyneth Paltrow has listed her Tribeca, New York apartment and now you can take a peek inside this lavish space.

Paltrow, who bought the property with her then husband Chris Martin in 2007, put the property up for sale in March for $US14.25 million (R209 million). The price was then reduced in April $US12.85 million, but there hasn’t been a buyer yet.

Her lifestyle blog, Goop, recently featured a “home tour” and it showcased the interiors of this upmarket apartment. We can’t say that we are surprised at the finishes and furnishings - it looks exactly the way we imagined Gwyneth Paltrow’s home would.

The interior design was done by Roman & Williams, who are also famous for their work inside The Ace Hotel and the Standard Hotel. The interiors are layered, light and subtle colours with delicate features.

There is also an indoor swing which was made from an antique Indian door, painted white and adorned with silk pillows. Probably the most lavish of all is the main bedroom’s bed - it is so large that custom sheets had to be made for it.
